4-WEEK
PERFORMANCE EXTENSION:
Part of our mission as a training institution is to give artists
a creative community, where they explore, workshop their talents,
and share their artistic life with each other. Therefore, we are
giving students who register in the Spring 2010 Session of classes
the option of a four-week workshopping performance opportunity
at the end of their class. Lead by our amazing teaching staff,
students will use the four weeks to workshop a staged performance
for the Piven community as part of our “Performance Lab
of Piven”. Depending on the level of participation, and
the composition of those participating, this could be a series
of performed scenes, staged readings, story ensembles, personal
stories, or a full play. It is bound to be an exciting event for
our community & students!
