All proceeds from the event benefited the Piven Theatre Workshop, now celebrating 37 years as a Chicago institution, a professional theatre and a widely acclaimed actor training center for children and adults. The Piven Theatre Workshop has maintained a longstanding commitment to fostering creativity, liberating imaginations and celebrating creative excellence. Serving 1,000 students a year, the Piven Theatre Workshop maintains outreach programming throughout Chicago and, through its scholarship program, annually waives approximately $30,000 in tuition fees to students in need.
